Our story
From weaving heritage to B2B partner.
Ateliermaxx has its roots in Winterswijk, a Dutch town with centuries of weaving tradition. We have operated there since 2010 as Armina Gordijnenatelier, the name we still use in the Netherlands. Our international B2B activities operate under the Ateliermaxx brand.
Winterswijk was once a major textile town: weaving mills and knitting factories shaped its streets and flourished in the 1920s. This heritage is where our roots lie.
The small curtain workshop quickly grew to around ten employees. In 2024 we founded a Swiss company, initially for project-based bespoke curtains. A third company and our own production in Jablanica, Bosnia, brought us to 25 employees.
Today we are fully committed to the B2B market for ready-made and bespoke curtains, as a production and white-label partner for furniture stores, hospitality and interior design.
You can also supply your own curtain fabrics. We make them up to your specifications at the agreed processing price. We also alter and repair existing curtains for established partners.
