Care guide for curtains
Note: Please always check the care label on the product page before cleaning or caring for your curtains.
Dealing with pleats
1. Steaming
- Use a handheld steamer to gently relax the fabric and remove wrinkles.
- Make sure the steamer does not touch the fabric directly to avoid water stains.
2. Use water spray:
- Lightly spray your curtains with water and then let them hang. The weight of the curtains will help naturally pull out the wrinkles.
Washing curtains
1. Machine wash
- Use a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent.
- Wash curtains solo to avoid damage.
2. Hand wash:
- For delicate materials, hand washing with lukewarm water and mild detergent is recommended.
- Move gently without scrubbing.
3. Drying
- Avoid wringing the curtains. Hang them to air dry or lay them flat.
- For machine washable types, tumble dry on low heat until slightly damp, then hang to dry completely.
4. Dry cleaning:
- For special, heavy or delicate fabrics, we recommend having the curtains professionally cleaned.
General care tips
1. Regular dusting:
- Use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to regularly remove dust from the curtains.
2. Protection from sun damage:
- Our curtains are highly lightfast, but we recommend protecting them from direct sunlight to prevent fading and material weakening.
3. Refresh:
- Air your curtains occasionally on a breezy day to refresh them and eliminate odors.
By following these care instructions, you can significantly extend the lifespan and appearance of your curtains.
